HOW TO GET WORK THROUGH DAGMUSIC
Thank you for your interest in joining our roster of talented and professional artists!
Please note that Dagmusic is a booking agency and not a talent management agency. We cannot help you book tours or record deals, exclusively represent you, or help you gain exposure.
We book one-off (sometimes regular) jobs for our freelance artists depending on our clients’ requests. If we feel that you may be a suitable candidate for a job, we will contact you with any available details and conditions, and if you are interested in being submitted we will ask you for your availability to do the job if selected.
In general there are no auditions, and clients choose who they want for the job based off of your demo and profile.
To register, please see “How to Register” below. We require you to fill out a registration form and send us some necessary files, but we do not require you to sign an exclusive contract with us. You may be required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).
We will provide further information about how jobs and payments will work upon completion of registration.
HOW TO REGISTER
*Please note that registration is open only to residents of Japan with a legal working visa ('Holiday' visa is not applicable).
*For those registering children please register here + fill out forms at the bottom of this page.
Please fill out the following form and email register@dagmusic.com the following:
Singers: 4-5 voice samples; 3 photos; artist bio
Narrators/ Voice Actors: 2.5-3 min voice demo; 1 photo; artist bio
Composers: audio and/or video demo reel; 1 photo; artist bio
Translators/ Engineers/ Directors: CV including any relevant qualifications

Auditions are very rare - you get chosen by clients based on your demo. You can make a demo up from scratch- it doesn’t have to be actual work you have done- it just needs to show what you are capable of in a studio. If you are an amazing talent but have a bad demo (and/or photo) - you will not get hired.
